In July 2021, we opened a new office in Madrid, Spain, located at Paseo de la Castellana, in the financial heart of the city. This new office is a strategic space to enhance the growth of our operations in Europe and contribute to the creation of opportunities for local talent.
About our new offices
Inspired by fractal nature, Globant’s new headquarters seeks to create freshness and dynamism within an organic space, and at the same time introduce a code of connection and communication between the different areas.
These new offices were designed to enhance two aspects that are important to our company:
– Wellbeing: 10 Well principles
We provide the benefits of the WELL 2.0 certification, which includes a series of recommendations and standards for the well-being and health of living spaces, with two new sustainable criteria that we apply: materials and community. It evokes not only what you see, but also what you feel.
– Connected spaces
With the purpose of fostering a positive, relaxed, and stimulating work environment, Globant’s offices are characterized by being open and fun workspaces that promote innovation. We went beyond the traditional way of setting up spaces based on communication, contemplation, concentration, and collaboration, and combined all of them to create a new informal space that makes it possible to work individually or in teams.
About Globant in Spain
Globant is focused on accelerating the process of bringing its capabilities to Spain, in order to take advantage of the ecosystem of talent and innovation in that country. It was the company’s second office in Europe, after London.
In March this year, we also set in motion our operations in Málaga, where we plan to hire 200 professionals. There, we will create an Artificial Intelligence Innovation Center, from which we will deepen our research and knowledge in AI, and collaborate with the development of disruptive solutions such as Augmented Coding, Fluent Lab, and StarMeUp.
Our presence in the European country allows us to respond to international and local demand, given that companies’ digitalization processes have accelerated significantly as a result of the pandemic. The possibility of accessing Spanish talent enables us to continue using emerging technologies in order to navigate the needs of our clients.
