How Globant celebrates Pride Month LGTBIQIA+ to inspire change

For Globant, June it is the culmination of an all-year-round commitment focused on the LGTBIQIA+ community, to ensure every single person feels heard and acknowledged. Our goal is not only to raise awareness but to listen to their stories and needs, empowering them through visibility, space and presence.  At Globant, we reinforce that we are allies, daily, inside and outside of the office. 

Globant celebrates promoting a true culture of inclusion

Diversity and inclusion are at the core of Globant’s culture: it nurtures our innovation and connects us with our customers and the communities we serve. 

Our focus is on the mission of bringing to life one of Globant’s main purposes: creating an equitable world for all, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity, age, religion, or sexual orientation. Globant’s very own Diversity Pod has taken this mission to different areas and regions of the company, and favored a diverse view; it has given visibility to the creation of communities and even driven the formal creation of a global inclusion and diversity area. 

One of the ways Globant celebrates, supports and raises awareness of the rights of the community is to talk about these issues. Among these efforts are sharing a gender-sensitive communication guide that is useful for any organization or individual wishing to learn more about how to communicate inclusively, the importance of talking about mental health within the LGTBIQIA+ community, work opportunities for trans population within the digital industry, learning how companies can remove invisible barriers to job access for people with disabilities, and opening the topic of microaggressions. All these topics aim to inspire change, in big and small ways.

June is a month where we invite everyone to join us in our mission to grow and make leaps in this path of inclusion and diversity.
