There are unique moments in the history of Globant that you probably don’t know and you will be amazed. Let’s start with these five!
1) We coded from Antarctica.
Yes, In 2012, a group of Globers went to develop code from the southernmost continent of the Earth. Ignacio Saslavsky (Rosario), Natalia Imhoff (Córdoba), Bárbara Meclazcke (Tandil), Mariano Salvetti (Buenos Aires) and Lautaro Sosa (Córdoba) formed the team of Argentinian Globers chosen for this great adventure. During this experience the members offered solutions to researchers at Base Marambio. We invite you to follow all the experiences lived through the blog: http://antartida.globant.com/
2) First Technology Company from Latin America to go Public
In July 2014, Globant became the first technology company in Latin America to trade on the NYSE (New York Stock Exchange). In Times Square and other emblematic places in the US we put giant screens with the Globant logo to honor this great achievement.
3) The first company to develop for Google outside the Googleplex.
In 2006, we won a challenge that made us the first organization to develop for Google outside the company. The secret formula was in the talent of our teams, initiative and innovative qualities that we look for in each new Glober that joins our team.
4) Our traditional trip to Las Lenas.
Every year, a growing group of Globers joins this exclusive trip of 3 days and 7 nights (Yes, 7, we boast to work hard and enjoy even more). For example, in 2017, six buses filled with 200 Globers and five party managers traveled on this unique trip. Watch this video to learn a little more: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2TMiXlsLcs0.
