About Giorgio Tacchia

Giorgio Tacchia’s career in the media and telecommunications sectors has been diverse. He began at Fastweb, an Italian telecommunications and broadband service provider, in the early 2000s, a pivotal time for IP technology globally. In late 2012, he founded a technology media company, creating a comprehensive entertainment marketplace. The company focused on technology and user experience, providing immersive content access and product purchasing across various devices and countries.

During his 11-year tenure as CEO, the company expanded globally, reaching 60 million customers, achieving a turnover of 50 million, and attracting investments from major Hollywood studios. In 2023, a branch of the company he founded was acquired by Globant, marking the start of his current chapter, where he contributes to business growth and oversees significant media projects. Currently, he is heading the media and entertainment studio at Globant in EMEA and is based out of the Middle East to lead further expansion.
