The world is changing faster than ever. There’s a rising generation pushing the limits envisioning a future that is theirs and exploring new ways of doing things.
To highlight the importance of generational diversity, we are delighted to introduce the Council of Igniters, Globant’s first advisory board of centennials. This board aims to engage in an ongoing dialogue with Globant to enrich our strategic vision and develop initiatives to address crucial aspects such as the future of work, diversity and inclusion, climate change, and education.

The first edition of the Council was composed of Latin American influencers who have succeeded in positioning themselves as references in gaming, art, music, sustainability, and tech, forming large communities: Scarlett Rueda (México), Tom Filho (Brasil), Lautauro Saina (Argentina), Soy Fira (Colombia), and Plugo (Argentina).
One of the subjects that stood out during our conversations with the Council was the Metaverse, which youngsters see as a powerful tool to state who they are. “Not everyone has the courage to recognize their identity in real life and be authentic. The Metaverse is a space where young people can express themselves as they are, recognize their identity, and express it,” says SoyFira, the first NFT Colombian artist.
We want to recognize the power of generational diversity to address the most pressing issues of 2022 and the coming years. Diverse groups are better at problem-solving because of their unique perspectives and life experiences. Baring this in mind, the Council of Igniters will be critical in reinventing our company, bringing fresh insights to stay relevant, devise more innovative solutions, and be a transformation enabler for our clients.

Our first dialogue with the Council of Igniters took place in our Argentina offices. This was just the first of many meetings to exchange ideas, integrate Globant into the centennial ecosystem, and reinvent ourselves to address the demands of a changing world.
